Biography
My name is Fariba. As far as remember, I have always been interested in learning and wanted to know about everything I have seen or heard. My hobbies are reading books and surfing in the internet, especially youtube and Twitter. I am interested in painting and I am thinking of learning photography.
Education
I studied occupational health at university and after graduation, I experienced different jobs. I have a good experience in different fields of occupational and environmental health and research from industry to university. these experiences, helped me to find my real interest. I was a part-time consultant at factories, a lecturer at university, and a data specialist at a research institute!
Coding (Data science)
When I started my job at DDRI as a researcher I found that a big part of my duties is working with big data so I had no choice but to learn at least one programming language. At that time I made a firm decision to learn Python by myself and I did it. I also took several courses and workshops in the field of data science and machine learning.
Coding (front-end)
I was surfing Twitter when I received a notification from my friend. he sent me the SheCodes foundation announcement. I applied for it and was approved. I never thought of being a front-end programmer and the beginning of this path was completely accidental but now I am very happy about it.
